The Spirit of Ages | The Sound of the Present
Aurus is a musical project. We bring the spirit of ages to the sound of the present by creating and performing music from all around the world. We take special interest in ethnic traditions of different cultures, and build our programs around folk/ethnic instrumental and vocal pieces. We aspire to revive authentic sound and spirit of the music performed, and use a variety of ethnic instruments for the task, including the Celtic harp, recorders, ethnic drums etc.

Experience
We have more than 5 years of lexperience in performing. We have performed at a variety of venues, including the British Ambassador's Residence in Moscow, The Center of Russian Culture in Luxemburg, The Old English Court Museum, St. Andrews Anglican Church in Moscow.
We thus aspire to create unique educational & entertainment projects that are focused around English language learning, as well as delivering unique talks on various music- and language-related subjects.
Music has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandmother was a choir conductor, my mother a professional pianist, so I grew up surrounded by music.
Music is my life, a form of existence. I realized this when I was a teen, and have been studying and perfecting my skills since then. I adove early and traditional music, I play by ear, I improvise and just love making arrangements.
